Andrew is a digital visionary with passions rooted in motion, light, and rhythm. With a diverse background that spans from digital art, extreme sports, music, and environmental engineering, his work reflects a life lived at the intersection of creativity, adrenaline and intellectual understanding. Andrew founded the Sleek Media Collective in 2018, to combine his love for digital photography with opportunities to collaborate with organizations and brands that share his same passions. Andrew brings talented experience in Directing, Director of Photography (DP), Advertising/Marketing Campaigns, and Digital Brand Management. His precision behind the lens is matched only by his relentless pursuit of visual excellence and complimented by his understanding of business. Andrew is fluent in the language of light, movement and technology, a master of all major cinema camera systems (ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon). Whether it's the fluidity of handheld vérité, raw energy of a car-mount, or the sweeping elegance of gimbal, Andrew brings a kinetic edge and innovative artistic perspective to every frame. Baktash is an Emmy Award–winning filmmaker whose lens is fixed not just on what we see, but on what we feel. Through his directing, producing, and writing, he brings to life stories that illuminate the human condition; stories that capture the power of hope, resilience, friendship, especially within contexts of conflict, loss, and love. His award-winning films have been showcased at notable festivals such as Tribeca, SXSW, Telluride, Toronto Film Festival (TIFF), and DOC NYC, collecting multiple Jury and Audience Awards, Peabody Awards, and multiple Emmys. Two of his films have also made it onto the Oscars shortlist, underscoring his dedication to creating work that resonates deeply with audiences around the globe. As a former refugee, humanitarian, and military interpreter, Baktash draws on his cross-cultural experiences to foster empathy, open dialogue, and meaningful storytelling. He writes, speaks, and teaches regularly on individual, organizational, and societal change, driven by the belief that understanding one another’s stories can transform how we see the world, and ourselves. Baktash is known for crafting bold, emotionally resonant stories that leave a lasting impact. With a signature blend of visual poetry and narrative power, his work spans genres and continents, bringing intimate human experiences to the global stage.
Zachary is a visual storyteller driven by a deep passion for narrative filmaking, cinematic expression and emotional resonance. With a rich portfolio of short films, he crafts each frame with purpose, blending dramatic imagery and narrative depth to create immersive, unforgettable experiences. A true multi-disciplinary artist, Zachary moves seamlessly between roles—Director of Photography (DP), Assistant Camera (AC), Gaffer, Editor, and Visual Effects Artist (VFX), bringing a rare fusion of technical mastery and creative intuition to every production. His expertise in Blender allows him to weave breathtaking 3D visual effects into his work, elevating the ordinary into the extraordinary. As an editor, he navigates Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve with fluid precision, sculpting each story with rhythm and sensitivity. Zachary’s vision in film is both bold and refined, whether he's lighting a scene or building a world from scratch, his commitment to visual poetry is unwavering.
